Officers patrolling the area of Boudinot Street tried to stop Papino Lloyd after seeing him with a handgun and a high-capacity magazine, Trenton Police said in a release on Monday, Sept. 19.
Lloyd then fled, discarding the weapon in the process, before being found with a Polymer handgun with a high-capacity magazine without a serial number and a distributable amount of crack-cocaine within 1000 feet of a school and 500 feet of a park, according to police.
Lloyd was later found to be classified as a certain person not to possession a handgun/ammunition, authorities said.
Lloyd was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, prohibited weapons and devices (high-capacity magazine), defaced firearm, possession of crack-cocaine, obstruction, resisting arrest, as well as numerous additional weapons and drug offenses.
Police also confiscated 20 grams of crack-cocaine and a Polymer 80 .9mm semi-automatic handgun with a high-capacity magazine.
